BIOGRAPHY
After studying gemology in New York, Manuel Bouvier began his career at Cartier in the fine jewelry department, which later became part of the Cartier Museum. As he discovered the gemstone market and became familiar with the heritage of the House of Cartier, he developed a taste for exceptional and refined creations. He then collaborated with Marina Bulgari, who taught him the rigor of design and great freedom in the choice of colors.
In 1992, he created his own trading and design company. Supported by skilled craftsmen and combining modern materials with centuries-old techniques, he creates unique pieces set with stones he acquires from around the world, including the rarest gems, diamonds, colored stones, and fine pearls. He creates custom pieces for his clients and friends that are both understated and refined. Quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of his production.
"It is important for me to separate the highly mechanized and rationalized jewelry industry from fine jewelry, where craftsmanship and rare materials allow for the creation of truly unique pieces."
Manuel Bouvier has chaired the IC Fabergé Foundation. Located in the historic heart of Geneva, his offices are a meeting place for collectors and gemstone enthusiasts.
