The Geneva Chamber of Notaries is a professionalassociation that brings together all notaries in the canton of Geneva upon their appointment by the State Council. Notaries are your best advisors in many circumstances in life. The Chamber of Notaries aims to promote high-quality notarial services for the community, specifically by:

• ensuring that its members comply with the rules of professional conduct that it has set

• ensuring the continuing professional development of its members

• to arbitrate, at the request of the parties, any disputes that may arise between its members, or between them and their clients

• to defend the interests of the profession

• On our website, you will find all the information you need about our members and the life of our Chamber, how to prepare for an appointment, our fees, and our professional rules. We offer some clarification on our main areas of activity.

• The secretariat provides information to the public by responding directly to questions concerning the Chamber or the profession, or by directing requests to the appropriate contact person (President, Permanence, notary). It assists the President in the day-to-day tasks related to his position (correspondence, events, follow-up on the working sessions of the various committees, etc.).
