Permanence de la Chambre des Notaires de Genève

The Geneva Chamber of Notaries holds a drop-in session in the Old Town every Thursday.

Anyone can benefit from a personalized consultation without an appointment, which will be billed at CHF 60.

The purpose of the office is to analyze a given situation and provide legal and tax advice in all areas falling within the competence of notaries.

In principle, consultations will not exceed thirty minutes.

The service does not authenticate signatures ("legalizations") or documents ("certified copies").

It does not draw up notarial deeds, draft deeds or certificates.

The Permanence does not deal with complaints about invoices or requests for provisions drawn up by a notary; such complaints fall within the jurisdiction of the President of the Chamber of Notaries.
