Legal advice is provided by lawyers registered with the Geneva Bar Association.
Consultations last approximately 30 minutes. The initial consultation costs CHF 20.

The legal aid service provides consultations in the following areas, among others:

• Personal and family law (protective measures for marital unions, divorce, modification of divorce judgments, alimony, etc.)

• Tenancy law

• Debt collection and bankruptcy law

• Immigration law (B residence permits, etc.)

• Traffic law (traffic violations, license revocation, etc.)

• Social insurance law (LPP, SUVA, etc.)

• Company law
