Gamboni & Salmina Impresa Costruzioni SA, a company founded in 1946, operates in the field of construction and civil engineering.

In 1969, engineer Edy Salmina became the owner, and in 2001 he was joined by his son, engineer Andrea Salmina, who took over the management of the company in 2006.

The company, with its qualified staff and constantly updated machinery and construction techniques, is able to ensure professional, skilled workmanship in accordance with best practice.

Constant attention to customer needs is the basis of a company policy guaranteed by 70 years of reliability.

Gamboni & Salmina has grown thanks to the daily commitment of its employees, who are always motivated and supported with refresher and training courses. The company now has around 80 employees and trains apprentices.

The company is a member of the Swiss Contractors' Association (SSIC). Andrea is on the Board of Directors of the Ticino Section and a delegate to the National Assembly.

In 2008, Isolazioni Storni SA – www.isolazioni-storni.ch – was integrated into the company. It specializes in insulation, waterproofing, and renovation, thus completing a very important complementary sector with its operational staff.

The Salmina family is also successfully involved in promoting tourism in the Verzasca Valley through Davide Salmina, a graduate of hotel management school, who manages and rents out charming rustic properties. Now in its third generation, the family-run business continues to thrive.
