Balemi Giorgio SA

Balemi Giorgio SA is a family-run business operating in the construction and civil engineering sector, based in Tenero-Contra.

 

Founded in February 1956 by Giorgio Balemi as a general partnership under the name "Balemi Giorgio & Co.", in 1997 it changed its name to the current "Balemi
Giorgio SA."

 

In 1990, Giorgio was joined by his son Claudio, who took over the business over the years, becoming the current owner and works manager. Claudio graduated as an STS architect in 1987 and then took a course in Management for Building Contractors at SSQEA.

 

The company is a member of the Swiss Contractors' Association (SSIC).

It currently has around ten employees.

 

The operation of a construction company, civil engineering, superstructure and substructure, reinforced concrete, plaster, plastering and similar, a general contractor; the execution of paving works in general; the management of an architectural office; the preparation of technical reports, the management of works, the execution of transport in general, mechanical excavations and earthworks; the purchase, sale and management of land and real estate; the purchase of shares in other companies or firms; any other commercial or financial operation directly or indirectly related to the corporate purpose in Switzerland and abroad.
