Since 2005, the Siloah Laser Center has been successfully expanded with the opening of a dermatological institute. This has strengthened not only our expertise in the field of dermatology and laser medicine, but also in the field of medical aesthetics. In particular, surgical dermatology and aesthetic surgery have come to the fore thanks to the collaboration between a skin surgeon and a plastic surgeon. Thanks to modern surgical facilities, even major surgical procedures such as liposuction, laser lipolysis, eyelid surgery, S-lifting, and hair transplants can be performed on an outpatient basis under highly safe conditions at the practice clinic.

Outpatient and inpatient surgery
As a surgical center, we have a modern practice operating room with laser equipment, where we primarily perform outpatient procedures under local anesthesia. In addition, we can also use the operating room and bed capacities of the affiliated Siloah Clinic for major procedures under general anesthesia.

 

Surgical dermatology (skin surgery)
All minor and major skin surgery procedures are performed professionally. We use modern radio frequency and laser technology to support our work.

Skin cancer surgery
We specialize in tumor surgery, including cases that require lymph node removal and/or plastic defect coverage. For complicated tumor operations, we like to use the method of microscopically controlled surgery, which works like a frozen section. A significant advantage for the patient is that we have a prompt tumor diagnosis and can perform reconstruction during the same surgical session.


Skin graft
In special cases, it may be necessary to transplant the patient's own skin as Reverdin flaps, split-thickness grafts, or full-thickness grafts.



Sweat gland suction
With a minimally invasive surgical procedure under local anesthesia (similar to liposuction), excessive sweating in the armpits can be stopped once and for all.

Botulinum toxin injections
For the treatment of expression lines in the face and neck area. The facial muscles can cause characteristic expression lines to form or become so pronounced that they detract from a person's overall appearance, for example, frown lines.
Furthermore, excessive sweating in areas such as the armpits can also be reduced by specifically blocking the cholinergic stimuli to the sweat glands.

Wrinkle injections
Skin aging on the face is accompanied by the formation of wrinkles, loss of contour, or volume deficits. The cheek, mouth, and lip areas are often particularly affected. For wrinkle injections, we use biocompatible filling substances such as hyaluronic acids, calcium hydroxylapatite, agarose, autologous fat, and plasma gel (from the patient's own blood). In addition to their natural filling and volumizing properties, some fillers can also have a positive effect on the synthesis of new collagen fibers in the connective tissue of the skin.

Liposuction under local anesthesia (tumescent technique)
Body areas (abdomen, hips, thighs, neck) that remain problematic even after intensive weight loss are particularly suitable for liposuction. The procedure is most commonly performed successfully using a tumescent technique (local anesthesia technique) in combination with a vibration cannula. The fat cells are permanently removed.
Recently, a new laser method called "laser lipolysis" has been added to our repertoire, which can be performed alone or in combination with the proven suction technique. Under local anesthesia, a fine laser fiber is inserted under the skin into the fatty tissue and a defined amount of laser energy and heat is released. This allows fat to be specifically melted away in specific problem areas and even sagging skin to be tightened again. This new method is particularly interesting for use on sagging upper arms or in the neck area.
