• High proportion of renewable raw materials
• Recycling of wood waste into paper, fuel, etc.
• Optimal thermal insulation of the exterior wall: a 10 cm thick wooden wall insulates as well as 2.5 cm of rock wool, 1.2 m of concrete, 35 m of steel, and 150 m of aluminum.
• Space gain thanks to slim walls: approx. 1.40 m² per floor for a house size of 8.00 x 10.00 m
• Short construction times, approx. 4.5 to 5 months, thus reducing construction interest
• Healthy living environment, as wood is practically non-radioactive and has a significantly lower background radiation than all mineral building materials, e.g., concrete ceilings with a high steel content.
• Wood has insulating properties that ensure pleasant room temperatures in both winter and summer: wood is a good heat store and a poor heat conductor, i.e., it reacts only slowly to fluctuating outside temperatures.
• Very high fire resistance: in the event of a fire, wood burns very slowly without transferring heat or producing toxic smoke.
