Spitex Appenzellerland offers help and care at home to people of all ages. The aim is to enable people with health restrictions to remain in their familiar surroundings or to return home earlier from a hospital stay.

Individual and professional help and care

Assessment and consultation – We work with our clients to determine their care and support needs. In doing so, we take into account their requirements as well as the concerns of their relatives. We advise clients, relatives, and others involved in their care.

Treatment care – We provide medication, check vital signs, administer injections and infusions, etc.

Basic care – We help our clients with personal hygiene, getting dressed, putting on compression stockings, etc.

Housekeeping and support – We assist with household tasks such as weekly cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc. We promote resources and independence and relieve the burden on family members who provide care.

Relieving and supporting – Family, neighbors, and friends play a central role in caring for people who need care at home. We support family caregivers so that they can continue to provide help for as long as possible while staying healthy.
