Organization

With the introduction of the new adult protection law on January 1, 2013, the official guardianships in the canton of Graubünden were renamed professional guardianships and the guardianship authorities were renamed child and adult protection authorities. With the entry into force of the territorial reform on January 1, 2013, the Surselva region is responsible for professional guardianship in strategic decisions.

The employees of the professional guardianship service in the Surselva region are responsible for implementing measures under child and adult protection law on behalf of and under the supervision of the Surselva Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB).

Mission

Within the framework of the mandates established, individuals are supported in personal, financial, and legal matters and advised on how to organize their lives, taking into account their social environment.
