Gasthof zum Bad

We welcome you to Gasthof zum Bad—a time-honored country inn in the Bernese Seeland region, located on the edge of the Bucheggberg, with wood-fired cooking and its own spring.

At our inn, we serve traditional cuisine with many farm specialties, such as Metzgeite in the fall or our Emmental cheese weeks. Many of the products we use come from our own farm or, where possible, from other farms in the region. In all cases, our food is fresh, of first-class quality, healthy, and balanced. In keeping with the historical background of the building, we have a wood-fired oven in addition to our modern kitchen heated with electricity and gas.

Enjoy our meat dishes, but also our vegetarian dishes. We only offer fish on request. To round off a good meal or as a delicious snack, you can enjoy our homemade dessert creations, such as fresh strawberry tarts in summer and apple cakes in winter.
