Vinothek Cava Rava

'From bench worker to winemaker'. That was the motto in the very warm autumn of 1997 when I began my second training as a winemaker on the Gold Coast. I learned everything there is to know about how wine is made, from planting the young vines to bottling the wine. I learned everything that goes into making wine ready to drink, so we can enjoy it with a nice meal or just on its own. After a few stops in the wine trade, I decided to open the Cava Rava wine shop in August 2006. Today, I'm lucky to have a large and loyal customer base.

I import all wines directly from the winery and know all the winemakers personally. It is important to me to see how honestly and cleanly they work. Most of them produce according to ecological and/or organic principles, whether they are certified or not. Quality and value for money are always at the forefront—no brands and no mass production. In line with the motto "less is more," I have deliberately focused on European wine countries so that I can highlight the impressive diversity of these countries.
