Renovations and conversions

• Renovations of apartment buildings with the aim of increasing their residential value, mostly while they are still occupied. For clients such as the Création Baumann pension fund, the Freiland building cooperative, and the Langenthal municipal staff pension fund.
• Renovations and conversions of buildings worthy of preservation or protection in cooperation with the cantonal monument preservation authorities.
• Extensions and conversions of single-family homes with complete energy-efficient renovation.

 

New construction of residential and nursing homes
Design and implementation of various forms of housing for the elderly. Supporting the client from the initial idea to implementation. Two examples:

• "Im Zelgli": Senior living in Madiswil, a slightly different residential complex with many additional services, such as a nursing care group, lunch service, multipurpose room, daycare center, group practice for five family doctors, and much more

• "Alters- und Pflegewohnheim Schärme" (Schärme retirement and nursing home) in Melchnau: expansion with two new buildings and renovation of existing buildings. Implementation took place in three stages between 2016 and 2019

 

Commercial and office buildings as well as public buildings
New construction, conversion, or redesign of office buildings, industrial or commercial buildings, and public buildings. Examples include the conversion of the headquarters of Industrielle Betriebe Langenthal and the expansion of the Langenthal ice rink.

Renewable energies
Consulting and planning for solar systems (thermal and PV) for more than 20 years. Experience with the integration of systems in listed buildings.

Building surveys and visualizations
Creation of digital planning bases for existing properties: 3D models, floor plans, sections. For example, Casa Molino Vira (TI). Visualizations and renderings of your projects (ArchiCAD, Photoshop, InDesign).
