SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY
Sports physiotherapy has experienced tremendous growth in recent years, driven by demand from athletes but also by supply, as numerous postgraduate training programs are now available to physiotherapists.
Sports physiotherapists have a very special relationship with athletes when they are injured, doing everything possible to ensure a quick return to sport. The physiotherapist must also be present when the athlete is well in order to prevent any possible injury. The close relationship between the athlete, the physiotherapist, the sports doctor, the coach, and/or the physical trainer is essential.
This sports-specific physiotherapy includes injury prevention, appropriate physical tests, assessment and re-assessment of the athlete, and rehabilitation after injury. The sports physiotherapist, who is present during training sessions, camps, and competitions, will also provide "pre- and post-exercise" care and deal with any emergencies during the competition.
MANUAL THERAPY ACCORDING TO THE MAITLAND CONCEPT
Manual therapy is a specialty of physical therapy that deals with the management of movement dysfunctions of the neuromusculoskeletal system. It involves applying highly specialized treatment strategies, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises, based on clinical reasoning.

These conditions most often require rehabilitation by a physical therapist.

BACK SCHOOL – ERGONOMICS – POSTUROLOGY
Throughout our lives, our backs are subjected to many stresses. Most of the time, we don't pay much attention to our posture, position, and movements until pain sets in. That's when we regret our past choices... Nothing is lost, but we must take action!
