Ann Sheppard, osteopath specializing in cranial and energy osteopathy, as well as physiotherapist specializing in SAMT manual therapy, lymphatic drainage, and the Mézière method.

As an osteopath and physical therapist, I work on the rehabilitation and functional rebalancing of musculoskeletal disorders. In osteopathy, I also rebalance the energy system as part of a holistic approach to human health.

Osteopathy:

Osteopathy is a manual therapy that focuses on functional disorders of the human body. The osteopath uses their hands to determine the condition of the different systems of the human body (articular, visceral, cranial, or energetic) in order to develop a treatment plan.

Philosophically, osteopaths focus on the primary cause of the symptom by working on each system (articular, visceral, cranial, energetic). They approach the symptom from a holistic perspective of the human being.

 

Physiotherapy:

Physiotherapy is a paramedical discipline that aims to treat or restore the integrity of the musculoskeletal system using natural methods such as massage, soft tissue mobilization (skin, muscles, fascia), active exercises, passive or semi-active joint mobilization, electrotherapy, and heat and cold therapy.
