• Biography
  • Dr. Stéphane Dominguez: Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Lausanne in 1999. Trained in general surgery from 2000 to 2005 at Lavaux Hospital and then at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), acquiring skills in digestive, urological, pediatric, and orthopedic surgery. After spending 18 months in the surgery department at Morges Hospital, he returned to the HUG, where he furthered his training in digestive surgery (Prof. P. Morel) and proctology (Dr. Bruno Roche), joined the "Task Force" for new surgical technologies, and acquired expertise in minimally invasive surgery. He opened a surgical practice in Lausanne in October 2011.

What do we do?

• We treat all problems related to general and digestive surgery. Sometimes, simple medication is sufficient. If surgery is necessary, there are various options available: treatment at the practice under local anesthesia, outpatient surgery (discharge on the same day as the procedure), or inpatient surgery (hospitalization for one or more days). In some cases, multidisciplinary care is required, and we are in contact with recognized specialists in various fields (radiology, gastroenterology, oncology, etc.).
