Brasserie de Montelly

Le Montelly is a café-restaurant that opened in 1929 at the intersection of the Montoie and Montelly neighborhoods.

Its simple and welcoming interior, shaped like a half-moon and lit by large bay windows, has retained all its authenticity. The wood paneling and parquet flooring accentuate the café's obvious charm and contribute to the beautiful atmosphere of the place.

Depending on the time of day, the brasserie changes from a neighborhood bistro to a trendy restaurant. When the weather is nice, the stone facade adds to the decor of our large, sunny terrace decorated with flowers.

This historic establishment has been labeled a "Historic Café of Lausanne" since 2021.

For nearly a century, generations have followed one another at Le Montelly, to the delight of lovers of the neighborhood.
