The city of Lucerne has vibrant neighborhoods with lively communities and fosters an open and welcoming culture.

The Neighborhoods and Integration Department, which includes neighborhood development, neighborhood work, the Integration Office, and the SIP (Security, Intervention, Prevention) team, is committed to ensuring a high quality of life in the neighborhoods and respectful coexistence in public spaces.

With our presence in the neighborhoods and the Integration and Neighborhood Issues offices, we are direct points of contact for the population, especially for children and young people as well as for civil society organizations. We serve as a link to the administration and authorities. With the Neighborhood Life Project Pool and the promotion of integration projects, we support the activities and commitment of third parties.
