Today's Treuhand A. Willimann GmbH was founded on May 1, 1974. After receiving a broad education in small and medium-sized businesses and working for almost ten years as a tax expert at the Cantonal Tax Administration in Lucerne, Alois Willimann, a certified controller/accountant, decided to become self-employed.

Based on his experience as an assessor at the tax administration, Alois Willimann identified a gap in accounting and tax consulting services for the medical profession. Over the years, Treuhand A. Willimann GmbH has developed into one of the largest medical trust companies in Central Switzerland.
The continuously updated statistics on doctors' experiences are very popular and useful among existing clients and practice planners alike. In addition, almost all sectors of the skilled trades and commercial sector, as well as restaurants and hotels, are served.

In addition to the company founder, his son Rolf Willimann—holder of the Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence for Trustees and the Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence for Real Estate Managers—has also been actively involved in the management of the company for many years.

As market conditions are constantly changing, Treuhand A. Willimann GmbH converted its business into a legal entity in 2004.
