CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
In order to successfully realize a construction project, various factors that fall under the umbrella of construction management are more important than ever. Deadlines, costs, quality, ecology, aesthetics, and energy are all part of this. The art lies in bringing all these components together. This requires good people skills, as well as experience and expertise.
The trust between the client and the construction manager is the foundation on which the entire project is built, and thus also the basis for satisfied customers. The requirements for a construction project are becoming increasingly comprehensive and opaque. There are many hidden pitfalls that usually cause time and/or financial disillusionment for the client. With the necessary knowledge, many of these difficulties can be avoided, which ultimately contributes to the success of the project.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
My ideas about construction management include not only a basic knowledge of contemporary architecture and a good network, but also trust and practical expertise. Whether it's a simple kitchen renovation or a large construction site, whether it's a new build, conversion, or renovation, every project deserves the same attention and enthusiasm.
With roots in Lyss, the Seeland region, and the Biel and Bern areas, I can implement your construction project or plans in a sustainable and competent manner. As a trained carpenter with experience in many other areas of construction, I understand the language and practices used on a construction site. This enables me to establish and pursue a common understanding of the planned goal with everyone on the construction site. Clean construction sites and harmonious interaction between tradespeople are important factors for success on site. Construction management does not take place in the office, but at the site of the project. Despite good planning, various details must be clearly coordinated and worked out on site.
BUILDING OWNER REPRESENTATION
An additional supervisory authority between planning and implementation is a great advantage in all projects. As a client, it is not easy to cover the interface between the architect and the tradespeople. The potential for misunderstandings, additional costs, and unnecessary mistakes is ever-present. Furthermore, both sides do not always agree on various matters. Here, it is important to represent the client's ideas and concerns and, if necessary, to enforce them. This should be done in accordance with the applicable regulations, standards, and, of course, common sense.
