Developed by scientists at Harvard Medical School (USA), cryolipolysis is based on the scientific finding that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than other cell types. This effect is specifically exploited to enable fat cell treatment without surgery.

Using a cold vacuum applicator, the desired area of the body is cooled to a temperature around freezing point for approx. 30–70 minutes in a controlled manner without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue.

Since cryolipolysis only works externally, no anesthesia is necessary and there is no downtime. Even exercising immediately after treatment is no problem!
