Saillet et Cie

The company was founded in 1882 by our ancestor François Saillet, who moved from St-André-sur-Boëge (Haute-Savoie) to restart an abandoned forge in Carre d'Aval, in the municipality of Meinier, GE. His son Louis continued to work as a blacksmith, and in the early 1950s, his children Marc and Henri began selling and repairing agricultural machinery. Today, Henri's sons André and Roger are at the helm of the family business.
