The Maria Selvini Dance School was founded by Maria Selvini in 1965. The school is renowned in the region for being one of the first dance schools in Ticino, but above all for the high standard of its classical dance teaching. The highlight of the last decade has been the pre-professional course, which is a specific training program for those who want to make dance their profession. Every year, at least one student goes on to study dance or choreography at professional academies around the world. The school organizes workshops and events related to the world of dance and health with teachers and professionals from Switzerland and abroad. The workshops and information evenings are open to everyone.
