With two Federal Certificates of Competence ( plumbing and heating), Jean-Louis Berclaz founded his own company in 1968. The experience he had gained enabled him to quickly build up a young team and train apprentices in heating.
The company has been registered in the professional register since its inception. Training, renewal, and development have always been priorities for the company.
The small team grew over the years and, in 1972, the company moved to its current premises. In 1978, Jean-Louis Berclaz joined the committee of the Valais Association, becoming its president in 1987.
In 1988, the sole proprietorship "Berclaz Jean-Louis" became "Berclaz & Romailler SA" with the creation of an entity comprising six shareholders. The company name was chosen based on the surnames of the founders. The transition of management from Jean-Louis Berclaz to Jean-François Romailler began in 2005.
Technical innovations and energy savings have always been a particular focus. We take great care with our maintenance and repair service. Six technicians currently carry out maintenance work.
The ISO certification obtained in 2002 helps to maintain professional ethics, which is a definite advantage for our customers and our employees, who currently number 25.
