At the turn of the century (1898), Alfredo Bovisi came to Switzerland from Italy. In 1913, he founded his construction company in Mittelhäusern, Bern. In 1944, his son Alfred joined the business. The company Bovisi & Sohn was born. On January 1, 1955, Alfredo Bovisi transferred his share of the company to Battista Bovisi. The company name was now Gebrüder Bovisi. Alfredo Bovisi died in 1968. From then on, Battista Bovisi continued to run the construction company on his own. In 1985, Battista Bovisi founded a public limited company with his older son Alfred. The construction company BOVISI AG was born. Battista Bovisi Jr. joined his father and brother's public limited company in 1993. In the summer of 2012, Battista Bovisi Junior left the company. Alfred Bovisi's nephew Roman Riesen joined the company in his place. We have been an experienced, quality-conscious, and goal-oriented construction company for many generations.
