BAUMA GmbH Oberengstringen originated from Machaz Spenglerei, which changed its legal form to a limited liability company after 25 years as a sole proprietorship. It was founded by Kaja Alexander Machaz in 1997, four and a half years after passing his master craftsman's examination, and even after so many years, nothing has changed in terms of its original principles.

These include: maintaining a family business, prioritizing quality over quantity, and always striving for perfection with attention to detail.
