Tecnoterra SA

Tecnoterra SA, founded in 1987, has established itself primarily in the field of special foundations (sheet pile walls, vibrated piles, etc.), collaborating on the construction of the A2 motorway junctions and several sections of the A5, A9, and A16 motorways.
It has also participated in the Ferrovia 2000, AlpTransit, FLP doubling, and Mendrisio-Confine railway projects, as well as contributing to the construction of various marinas, shopping centers, industrial buildings, parking garages, prisons, schools, and canalization works.
 
By maintaining a stock of the most up-to-date sheet pile profiles and equipping itself with the latest generation of equipment (such as high-frequency and variable-frequency modulation vibratory pile drivers), Tecnoterra SA is able to deal with a variety of problems while providing the most appropriate solutions.
 
 

EQUIPMENT

Our equipment includes mobile cranes and crawler cranes, truck cranes, drilling rigs, excavators equipped for sheet pile installation, vibratory pile drivers, a hydraulic mobile crane that can be used for loading and unloading on behalf of third parties, and Merlo Roto rotating telescopic handlers available for hire.

The vibratory pile drivers range from traditional models to those with variable high frequency.

The latter significantly reduce resonance problems during machine start-up and shutdown, allowing sheet piles to be installed near buildings.

We also have various oxyacetylene cutting machines, motor welders, wire welders, particulate filters, and pumps for concrete, spritzbeton, and gunite.

METAL PROFILES

Tecnoterra SA has a large storage warehouse with approximately 5,000 tons of sheet piles of various profiles, with special pieces and/or tees and approximately 1,000 tons of HEB, IPE, and UNP profiles, also available for rental.

U-profiles have a resistance modulus ranging from 600 to 3,200 cm³.

Z-profiles have a resistance modulus ranging from 1,300 to 2,450 cm³.

Qualified personnel in the execution of all types of welding and the assortment of H and U type metal profiles allow Tecnoterra SA to offer metal carpentry works for various types of shoring.
