Mobile silo renovation with rolled asphalt

Over time, the concrete of the mobile silo is attacked by aggressive silage juices and becomes porous. Concrete damage is therefore unfortunately not uncommon.

Unfortunately, painting is no longer effective in this condition, as the surface of the concrete is already too damaged. Demolition and reconstruction is very time-consuming and costly.

At the latest when the reinforcing bars are visible, it is high time to renovate the silo floor.

Wiesendanger AG has been successfully offering a cost-effective alternative for five years.

We specialize in renovating drive-in silo floors with rolled asphalt surfacing.

How we proceed:

• The silo must be thoroughly cleaned
• Edge finishes are sealed with special tape
• A bitumen emulsion bonding agent is applied to the concrete floor
• Renovation with asphalt using a special formula
• Fermentation juice channels are adjusted
