Osteria Resega has its roots in an old grotto, a place where people used to gather to enjoy good food in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. In 1952, this grotto officially became the restaurant we know today. Since then, for over 70 years, we have served generations of customers, keeping alive our passion for traditional cuisine.
From the very beginning, we have been dedicated to offering three types of cuisine, each with its own identity and a particular focus on quality
meat: we prepare selected cuts using simple, traditional methods to enhance their authentic flavor;
Fish: every day we choose the freshest catch for our dishes, bringing the genuine flavors of the sea to the table.
pizza: our pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is made with carefully leavened dough and selected ingredients, for an experience that combines tradition and taste.

At Osteria Resega in Porza - Canobbio, the Alps meet the placid waters of Lake Maggiore, where we celebrate the authentic flavors of our land and our lake.
We specialize in a range of dishes from hearty meat, with selected cuts and traditional preparations, to delicate fish, with dishes that showcase the catch of the day, such as perch and bleak, as well as lake specialties. Each dish is a tribute to the culinary richness of Porza - Canobbio and its valleys!
We are open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please note that we are closed every Sunday from June 15 to August 31: book now to enjoy our meat and fish specialties!

There is also no shortage of seafood specialties, carefully selected to ensure freshness and quality, from mixed grills to refined first courses, designed to enhance the authentic taste of each ingredient.
If pizza is your passion, you've come to the right place. We are open Monday to Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., ready to bake your favorite pizza!
Whether you want to enjoy it in the comfort of your own home or pick it up in person, our pizzeria with takeaway service is always ready to satisfy your pizza cravings.
