Thierry de Mestral

Thierry de MESTRAL is the author of a doctoral thesis on private insurance law.

After completing his legal training, he furthered his education by working as a clerk and editor, first at the Vaud Administrative Court, now the Administrative and Public Law Division of the Cantonal Court, and then at the Second Public Law Division of the Federal Court.

He thus acquired advanced training in public law, particularly in land use planning and immigration law.

A member of the bar since 2006, he has gained extensive experience in family law, a field in which he has completed FSA training, and in criminal law.

Thierry de MESTRAL is passionate about history. For many years, he has also demonstrated his commitment to animal welfare through his membership in various associations.
