Aebi's spices have been sold in Swiss retail stores and wholesale outlets for several years. In addition to the original "Aebi's Original" recipe, there are four other special spices, a tasty gravy, and two bouillon pastes. Many restaurants have placed their trust in our products for years and use them in their kitchens every day. We strive to continuously expand our range with new products. Distribution is handled by Gourmet Trade AG.

The Aebi family

Jakob Aebi was born in 1894 as one of 12 children. In 1928, he founded his butcher's shop in Burgdorf. As a trained master butcher, he slaughtered and made sausages himself. His wife Emma ran the shop. Jakob had two sons: Hans and Ernst. Hans took over the butcher's shop in 1951. He had three children: Christine, Peter, and Urs. Both sons continued the butchery tradition. In 1954, they sold the butcher's shop.
