The funeral home Nicora & Vigizzi SA was founded in 1952 by Enrico Nicora and Aldo Vigizzi. It is currently managed by sole administrator Daniele Nicora of Locarno and director Marco Sgroi.

Its headquarters, with all its operational facilities, offices, showroom, mortuary, warehouses, and vehicle fleet, are located at the Centro Funerario e Crematorio Locarnese SA (Locarno Funeral and Crematorium Center) in the Locarno-Riazzino area, a short distance from the main roads and easily accessible by car from Locarno, Bellinzona, Lugano, and Italy. We are located in the heart of the Canton of Ticino.

A representative office is located in the city center, at Via della Posta 14 in Locarno, to serve those who cannot reach the main office. This office is open by appointment only.

Our funeral home and crematorium are located in the municipality of Locarno in the Riazzino area, close to the large roundabout at the cantonal airport.
Our center offers a full range of services under one roof:

• a rectangularceremony hall with seating for 120 and standing room for 400, flanked by a foyer that serves as an entrance hall and complement for large occasions. A computerized sound system and an organ are available for ceremonies.
• four mortuary rooms with a glass-fronted, air-conditioned catafalque where the coffin is placed.
• The cafeteria, located in the far west, with completely independent access, offers a view of greenery and plains through its windows. It is furnished in an elegant and comfortable style and is available to families who wish to entertain relatives and friends after the ceremony with refreshments and a buffet.
