CFR-Savigny: Multipurpose driving school

If you live in the canton of Vaud or even in French-speaking Switzerland, the Savigny Driving School is the ideal place to take your driving lessons. It is less than 10 minutes from Lausanne and offers free parking. The circuit is built on a 60,000 m² site.

The CFR offers a wide range of driving-related training courses: driving instructor, professional truck or bus driver, continuing education in accordance with the OACP, car and motorcycle licenses, crane license, etc.

New drivers with a provisional license can take the two-phase course there.

Instructor school

The CFR has a professional training school for car, motorcycle, and truck driving instructors that welcomes candidates from all over French-speaking Switzerland.

OACP and professional licenses

The CFR is approved to train professional truck and bus drivers for the Certificate of Competence as well as for continuing education (35 hours mandatory).

Two-phase car or motorcycle course

All new drivers must complete one day of additional training within one year of January 1, 2020.

Car and motorcyclelicenses

The CFR Savigny driving school offers all the courses required to obtain a car or motorcycle license: first aid, awareness, legislation, and driving courses.

Forklift and aerial platform license, crane license A and B

The consequences of an accident can sometimes be very serious, and it is essential to take training courses for lifting and handling equipment. The CFR organizes forklift, aerial work platform, and crane courses approved by the IPAF and SUVA.

The CFR also offers other courses such as advanced motorcycle training, winter driving techniques, economical driving courses, trailer licenses, etc.
