Torbau Schmidiger AG was founded in 1984 by Walter Schmidiger as a one-man business called Torbau Schmidiger. What began as a small one-man workshop gradually developed into a small company with several employees. In 1989, the large production hall was built, where all metal construction work is carried out. The product range was also repeatedly modified and adapted to ensure that our customers always had access to the latest technology. In 2020, the sole proprietorship became a public limited company. On January 1, 2021, Walter Schmidiger handed over his business to his son Lukas Schmidiger, who now runs the company together with his wife Michaela Schmidiger.
