The range of services extends from the assessment of all surgical problems to conservative therapies and surgical treatment.

Range of treatments:

• Diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for hemorrhoids, etc. (proctology)
• Surgery for umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, etc. (hernia surgery)
• Gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy)
• Small intestine, large intestine, and stomach surgery
• Treatment of varicose veins with or without surgery (phlebology)
• Minor hand surgery (CTS, trigger finger)
• Skin and soft tissue surgery (birthmarks, fatty tumors, etc.)
• Wound care
• Minor procedures of all kinds
• Port-a-Cath implantation
• Male sterilization (vasectomy, sterilization), foreskin tightening (phimosis)

Numerous minor procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis under local or regional anesthesia at the city practice. More extensive operations and laparoscopic procedures (keyhole surgery) are performed at the Belair Clinic. Patients with supplementary insurance can also receive inpatient treatment at the Lindberg Clinic in Winterthur.
