A person who loses a loved one is faced with indescribable grief and sadness. They must cope with a difficult ordeal that they must overcome by learning to live without the other person. However, in these painful circumstances, there is still a glimmer of comfort.
We provide support and advice to the relatives of a deceased person. We take care of the administrative and religious formalities associated with this special time, prepare the deceased, and work with the family to arrange the funeral.
We inform you about the arrangements to be made.
We organize a meeting with the bereaved family as soon as the death is announced and inform them about the arrangements to be made.
We listen to the family and offer them a range of services and ceremonies: cremation or burial of the body, coffin, or funeral urn.
We plan and organize the funeral ceremony at a church, temple, or secular venue, whether it is a private ceremony or a public tribute.
We take the financial situation into account with complete discretion and respect the family's decisions.
Management of the funeral service
The funeral washing is the first act of respect performed by our funeral home. This consists of dressing the deceased in the clothes you have chosen to give them as natural an appearance as possible.
We take care of the deceased and manage the funeral service.
Removal of the body
We remove the body from the place of death (home, hospital, nursing home).
Washing and dressing
We provide the necessary care according to the wishes of the family or the deceased (washing, hairdressing, shaving, makeup, dressing) for presentation to the family. We offer a choice of coffins, crosses, urns, flowers, wreaths, and crowns.
Organization of the wake and ceremony
We organize visits and wakes for the deceased. We pass on all messages received to the family. We take care of the ceremony at the church, temple, in private, or for a tribute.
End of the ceremony
We transfer the coffin to the funeral home or cemetery for burial or cremation. We then return the ashes to the family in a funeral urn, or place the ashes in the cemetery chosen by the family.
Handling official administrative procedures
The distress associated with bereavement can be long-lasting and make the additional administrative procedures tedious. In this case, more than ever, we are here to listen to you and can offer you personalized support solutions.
We handle the administrative procedures for you
We notify the municipality of the deceased's place of residence and request a burial permit and a death certificate from the civil registry.
We notify the administration of the cemetery where the burial or cremation will take place
Transport in Switzerland and all countries
We take care of the necessary administrative procedures and transfer the body to the appropriate location chosen by the family.
In the case of repatriation abroad, preservation or embalming may be useful or even mandatory for hygiene reasons.
We will advise you on the arrangements to be made.
We organize the transfer of the deceased from the place of death to the location chosen by the family quickly and efficiently.
Thanks to our extensive experience, we guarantee the smooth repatriation of the body. If the family wishes to have the deceased repatriated to any country, we will handle the transport and all the administrative procedures with the relevant authorities. We will prepare an international file (death certificate, burial permit, laissez-passer, welding, police service, chancellery).
We take care of transporting the coffin abroad by hearse or freight at the best price.
