Since 1986, EGELI Informatik has been developing customized software and ICT solutions that support and automate the daily business of more than 100 customers in Switzerland and neighboring countries. Eliane and Werner Egeli started the company in 1986 with a handful of digital enthusiasts. Initially focusing on solutions for credit and accounts receivable management, over the years they developed more and more customer-specific products. Today, the company is a large family of over 60 employees, with headquarters in St. Gallen and additional locations in Bern and Zurich. Together, we offer our customers solutions that provide decisive competitive advantages.

We attribute our success to the fact that, despite our growth, we have remained a down-to-earth family business. We think customer-oriented, act dynamically and efficiently, and are innovative and committed. Our team is a healthy mix of experience, ingenuity, cleverness, and zeitgeist. We have plenty of potential and a strong understanding of business processes, which we use to benefit our customers.

One family – one group – one unit

Speaking of extended families: we are part of the EGELI Group, which was founded in 1943 and is divided into five divisions: EGELI Treuhand, Creditreform Egeli Gesellschaften, EGELI Immobilien, E-Druck, and EGELI Informatik. Managed by family members Eliane, Werner, Martin, Daniel, Francine, and Raoul Egeli, as well as Andreas Feurer. Supported by around 200 employees in Basel, Bern, St. Gallen, and Zurich.

Why "Simple. Smart."?

Our software solutions simplify complicated processes in your company. We like to illustrate this using the example of a coffee machine. While we only have to press a button, a lot more is happening in the background: water is heated to the right temperature, the right amount of coffee beans is ground, the ground coffee is compressed, the heated water is pressed through the coffee powder and flows into a cup as finished coffee in the right quantity. We do the same with our software solutions: while the software automatically creates and monitors appointments, checks incoming payments, calculates interest, generates documents, and makes decisions, users can focus on special cases and customer service.

Xmatik moves from EGELI Informatik

EGELI Informatik has also owned Xmatik AG since October 2021: Founded in 2002, the company is one of the leading providers of transport software in Switzerland. Over 1,500 companies rely on its sophisticated solutions for transport management, order dispatching, vehicle communication, and tachograph evaluation. These solutions are developed and maintained by 15 employees at the company's headquarters in Arbon.
