It is important to me to offer people with eye problems the best possible treatment. I strive to give each patient personal attention, and I am always committed to providing the highest quality medical care.

Our services:

• Diagnostics: The eye problems described by patients are analyzed and a problem-specific examination is carried out; certain further examinations (such as examinations of strabismus patients by the orthoptist) can be specially planned.

• Prescription of glasses: The eyes are first measuredusing modern measuring devices. These measurements are then subjectively checked according to the patient's specifications.

• Drug therapies: Drugtherapies for problems such as eye infections and glaucoma are initiated or reviewed.

• Laser therapy: I performlaser therapy for posterior capsule opacification (recurrence of clouding after cataract surgery, see there) or glaucoma myself; for other ophthalmic laser therapies, patients are referred to the St. Gallen Eye Clinic.

• Eye surgery: I independently perform the following operations:
  • Cataract surgery, see below
  • Strabismus surgery
  • Eyelid corrections, see below
  • Various minor procedures
  • I do not perform laser-based treatments for vision problems ("goodbye glasses").
