Benteli Verlag Schweiz published my book: KleinBerlin, Davos 1939 to 1945.

 

My father, who grew up in Davos, recalls his youth during

World War II. History, politics, and literature come together to form a picture

and shed light on society, the economy, and the army.

The focus extends beyond Switzerland to other countries.

 

He tells of a youth in the shadow of war, of family tragedies,

everyday life and music, poverty and childhood freedom. Bizarre personalities

and small episodes make the past tangible. "KleinBerlin" is a

multi-layered chronicle that shows Davos in the mirror of world history.

 

The book was published in September 2025 and is available in any bookstore or online.
