SEV Société des Entrepôts Vevey SA was founded on December 28, 1940, and today has offices in St-Gingolph and Thonon-les-Bains, in addition to its headquarters in Vevey.

Specializing in customs formalities and the organization of all types of transport, SEV has been your preferred freight forwarder for over 80 years. Our 30 employees, who specialize in various areas of transport and logistics, work every day to ensure that your goods are handled in the best possible way. Today, the company is able to offer a comprehensive range of services: customs agency, all types of national and international transport, bonded (free port/EDO) or non-bonded warehousing, packaging, logistics management, and fine art.

Customs agency

Our various offices are at your disposal to handle all customs formalities within their respective areas of expertise. Our customs brokers, who hold federal customs broker certification, guarantee fast and efficient service. Whether in Vevey, St-Gingolph, or Thonon-les-Bains, we are here to solve your customs issues.

Transport

A team of specialists is at your disposal to study, prepare, and execute all your transport needs, regardless of origin or destination. Our freight forwarders ensure that your goods are transported quickly and reliably by sea, air, and road. Dedicated and express transport is carried out using our own vehicles.

Free port and warehousing

Our warehouse in Vevey has open customs warehouse (OCW) status, offering your goods the same advantages as a free port. Our warehouse consists of a high-performance infrastructure covering 3,000 m² in a free zone and over 1,000 m² in a free area. In addition, an area of 800 m² is equipped as a high-security zone. Our site therefore offers ideal storage facilities for managing your goods, particularly fine art. Our agency in Thonon-les-Bains also offers storage solutions.

Packaging

We have a packaging service tailored to your requirements to ensure that your products travel safely. We also have our own carpentry workshop and can count on highly qualified staff. Whatever the size, fragility, or value of your goods, we can provide you with the optimal packaging for each product.

Inventory management and logistics

To optimize your logistics flows, we take care of the warehousing and inventory management of goods in transit or in Switzerland. We also handle the receipt and processing of your orders, carry out the various stages of picking and packing, and ensure rapid distribution throughout the country or internationally. Our logistics solutions are tailored to each of our customers.

Fine Art

We offer a comprehensive service for fine art management. Our range of services includes: the preparation of a summary receipt report for each work, storage in secure bonded or non-bonded premises, the possibility of fitting out these premises, transport by our own vehicles or by specialized partners, the creation of crates or any other packaging necessary to protect your works, the completion of customs formalities, the possibility of organizing appraisals of your works, and inventory management.

Exhibitions

For your exhibitions in Switzerland or abroad, we offer our expertise in transport, handling, customs formalities, and on-site assistance. To do this, we can rely on an extensive network in this very specific area of logistics. We are also freight forwarders, customs agents, and handlers for all international exhibitions organized at the 2M2C (Montreux Convention and Exhibition Center).

Moving

We are qualified to carry out your removals (private, business premises, etc.) in Switzerland or internationally. We will take the utmost care of your belongings, protecting them with the utmost care. In this context, we can store your various belongings temporarily, whether to prepare for shipment or to receive your belongings and deliver them to you at a later date. We have a large network of partners, enabling us to organize your moves to or from any destination.
