We are a modern dental practice in Muri near Bern offering a comprehensive range of services. We work with state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, such as the Cerec procedure, lasers, dental microscopes, digital X-rays (including DVT (3D X-rays)) and intraoral cameras, but we always put people first.

Root canal treatment – endodontics
If root canal treatment is indicated, it forms the basis for any further therapy. Thanks to the consistent use of a microscope, a high level of treatment safety (pain-free, no complications) is guaranteed. The latest electronic instruments allow for gentle treatment even in complex root canals. We attach great importance to the use of biologically safe active ingredients. The laser, which is used in addition to conventional therapy, enables shorter treatment times with long-term stable results.

Anxious patients – dental phobia, nitrous oxide, sedation, anesthesia
Reassurance through anxiety-relieving medication or nitrous oxide (analgesic sedation).
Option of dental treatment under anesthesia at the Siloah Hospital in Gümligen and in cooperation with the mobile anesthesia team from Anaprax at the practice.
The patient inhales a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide through a nasal mask. After a few minutes, you feel a sense of lightness and relaxation. Suggestive calming music supports and enhances the hypnotic effect of the nitrous oxide. You can completely let go internally and pursue pleasant thoughts. Time often flies by.
At the same time as the anxiety decreases, so does the sensitivity to pain. The anesthetic injection is practically no longer noticeable. The extreme gag reflex (e.g., when taking impressions) and strong swallowing reflexes that are typical for many anxious patients and often make dental treatment difficult are also almost completely eliminated with nitrous oxide.
The ratio of oxygen to nitrous oxide can be adjusted individually and the depth of sedation can be adapted to the patient's needs. However, the patient remains responsive at all times. At the end of the treatment, the patient breathes pure oxygen for 5 minutes, which quickly counteracts the effects of the nitrous oxide.
After a safety break of 20 minutes in the waiting room, the patient can then leave the practice alone and with a clear head. The ease of control is a decisive advantage of nitrous oxide analgesia over other sedation methods (oral or intravenous).
