Apartment inspection
The official moving date is approaching and many tenants are moving into a new home. During the apartment inspection, any damage will come to light. But when is it normal wear and tear and when does the tenant have to pay? How clean does the apartment have to be? What should an owner pay particular attention to during the apartment inspection to avoid problems later on?
Your preparation:
- Rental agreement (including any addenda, agreements, etc.)
- Start/end of tenancy (terminated on..., liability until...)
- What repairs and investments were made before moving in (receipts required)?
- Take the move-in report with you to the handover. This will allow both you and the tenant to check which defects were already present when the tenant moved in. (Tenant/landlord defect list; handover reports)
- Was a rental deposit paid, and if so, how much?
- Are there any outstanding rent payments?
- What was agreed regarding final cleaning?

The first half hour is free for members. It is paid for by the association. From the second half hour onwards, the services cost CHF 75.00 per half hour plus incidental expenses. The costs are collected directly by the experts.
