Description
The company was founded in 1947 by Hans Schön and Walter Zimmerli under the name "Schön + Zimmerli." After Walter Zimmerli's death in 1967, Hans Schön continued to run the business as a sole proprietorship and converted it into a public limited company in 1968. From 1979 until 2013, the company was managed by the founder's son, Hans-Rudolf Schön, and since 1994, his son Thomas, who became the new owner in 2014, has been the third generation to work in the business.
With currently 12 employees, all relevant building services work in the fields of plumbing and heating is carried out in new buildings and renovations. A well-organized repair service helps with minor and major breakdowns. The company's activities include the installation of gas systems as well as the planning and project management of entire systems.

We plan and install cold and hot water systems, sewage, gas, and compressed air systems in buildings (for new buildings, conversions, refurbishments, and renovations). We are also responsible for installing the associated appliances and fittings. We carry out maintenance and repair work on sanitary facilities.
Heating systems
Gas, oil, solar, heat pumps, pellets – we are specialists in heating systems and other thermal installations for new buildings, conversions, refurbishments, renovations, or replacements. We plan and install system components such as boilers or heat pumps, circulation pumps, control and measuring devices, and various heating systems (radiator and panel heating, district heating, heating systems for hot water). We advise our customers on renewable energy technologies such as solar energy and heat recovery systems.
