The Foundation

The foundation, which consists of various organizations from the three municipalities of Wohlen, Kirchlindach, and Meikirch, owns and operates

• the Hofmatt retirement home and
• the retirement community

Both residential facilities are located in close proximity to each other.

Hofmatt retirement home

Hofmatt stands on a plot of land donated by Louise and Alfred Blaser-Stämpfli from Uettligen. The two-story home offers unobstructed views of the Alps and is directly adjacent to farmland. The home has 53 single rooms, 43 of which face south. The home offers hotel services, an exceptionally friendly atmosphere, and plenty of variety.

It accommodates elderly residents from the three municipalities represented in the foundation: Wohlen, Kirchlindach, and Meikirch.

Retirement community

The housing consists of three buildings with a total of 16 residential units. Tenants are welcome to join in activities at the home or have their meals there. If tenants require medical assistance, Spitex is happy to help.

Come and visit us – our cafeteria is open every afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. The volunteers from the Kirchlindach and Meikirch rural women's associations and the Wohlen women's association will be happy to serve you coffee and a snack.
