Company history
In 1979, Arthur Schlaginhaufen founded ROBINEX AG with the aim of distributing Braukmann fittings in Switzerland.
In the early 1980s, ROBINEX AG launched its own brand, "Helveticus," to complement the Braukmann range. The Helveticus brand was successfully marketed in Switzerland until the turn of the millennium.
At the end of the 1980s, Braukmann in Moosbach (Germany) was taken over by Honeywell. ROBINEX AG retained its independence and was able to continue its good business relationship with Braukmann even after Honeywell took over sales activities in Switzerland. The addition of the Honeywell range led to a positive expansion of the product offering.
Despite the transition from manufacturer to pure trading company, ROBINEX was able to retain its extensive knowledge in the field of pressure reducing valves, safety valves, filters, and other pipe fittings.
Today, ROBINEX AG sells high-quality fittings for almost every application.
