With nearly 30 years of experience as a lawyer, Nicolas Mattenberger founded Etude M& Avocats with Jessica Jaccoud in 2016. In 2024, with a view to expanding their areas of practice by adding new skills, they welcomed two new partners: Laura Nista and Vanessa Lucas.

All of the firm's lawyers are driven by the desire to defend their clients effectively and in a manner appropriate to the circumstances. Each client is welcomed, listened to, and considered in terms of their needs, and defense and procedural strategies are developed jointly and in consultation with the lawyer. The client is at the center of their actions.

The firm's lawyers meet with their clients in Vevey. However, modern videoconferencing tools enable them to assist their clients directly from their homes or workplaces, thus avoiding sometimes complicated travel.

They practice in all judicial and extrajudicial areas, mainly in the canton of Vaud but also in other French-speaking cantons.

They can also count on the valuable support of two trainee lawyers: Ms. Félicia Onuoha and Ms. Elisa d'Alessandro Stillavato.
