Nicolas Mattenberger, avocat

Maître Nicolas Mattenberger has an academic background and obtained a law degree from the University of Fribourg in 1996.

Between 1996 and 1998, he completed a legal internship at Torello & Couvoisier in Geneva and was admitted to the bar in December 1998.

He was admitted to the bar of the canton of Vaud in 1999. Since then, he has practiced independently in Vevey and co-founded the law firm M & Avocats with Jessica Jaccoud in early 2016.

In addition to his legal practice, Nicolas Mattenberger was a member of the Vaud Grand Council between 2002 and 2017, then between 2019 and 2022. In particular, he chaired the Legal Affairs Committee. He was also a member of the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the Riviera-Chablais hospital. He also chaired the Vevey-La Tour-de-Peilz section of ASLOCA for more than 20 years.

A native French speaker, he also has a knowledge of English.
