Atelier Bruno

My name is Diana Beyeler. Since July 1, 2012, I have been the proud owner of "Atelier Bruno." This company has many years of experience and tradition and is one of the most innovative specialist businesses.

In 1984, Bruno Neukom founded Atelier Bruno, a custom framing business located at Steigstrasse 4 in 8610 Uster. In 1985, he received the Master internazionale della Cornice award at an international art framing competition. He came in third place out of 1,200 invited framers known for their creativity, 32 of whom were from Switzerland, while others came from Europe, Canada, South America, China, and Japan. As the best participant from Switzerland, he also received the Swiss "Master Internationale" award. He successfully ran the business until June 30, 2012.

As a trained mechanic, I love working with machines and also working with metal and wood by hand, so that I can then present you with a carefully executed piece of work.

In addition to the quality of the workmanship, the specialties of "Atelier Bruno" are individual frames - in shape, color, and design - tailored to match the picture.

 

The frames are gilded in our own studio and color-coordinated with the picture.

 

Further training and specialization are part of my work. In Austria, I deepened my knowledge of the classic art of barrel painting and gilding at the Geisler-Moroder carving and sculpture school, which has been pursuing these traditions for 400 years.
