Physical Therapy
Two spacious, enclosed treatment rooms are available for physiotherapy treatments. Patients have free access to the training room and the entire infrastructure for therapy as well as on days when they are not undergoing treatment. This enables us to provide optimal support and design the rehabilitation program.
The most important components of our physiotherapy treatments are:
· Knowledge of wound healing and the resilience of
· Connective tissue in the rehabilitation of injuries or after
· operations.
· Knowledge of and experience with myofascial
· pain syndrome and myofascial trigger point therapy.
· We both treat with manual techniques, Erik-Jan de Roos
· additionally with dry needling.
· Manual techniques according to Kaltenborn/Evjenth and McKenzie.
· A holistic view of human health
· as a bio-psycho-social being.
· Experience gained through many years of working in various private practices.
· Our training as ESP® sports physiotherapists enables us
· to carry out sports-specific rehabilitation and stress training
·
Training
We offer strength and coordination training in a 72 m² facility. There is also a separate room for endurance training (18 m²), two changing rooms, and a shower. The training rooms are used for therapeutic purposes by patients as well as private clients with a training subscription.
In our training, we place great value on intensive and individual support.
That is why our subscriptions are geared towards a training goal for 3, 6, or 12 months. In order to actually achieve the training goal, the program should be regularly reviewed and adjusted. Strength training is often a complementary training to everyday life or other sporting activities.
With a program that is continually adjusted, it is possible to prepare for the competition season, outdoor activities in the summer, or gardening season. Training with targeted muscle tension triggers structural and functional adaptations in the tissue (muscles, bones, ligaments, nerves).
These adaptations increase the resilience of the tissue and lead to improved performance.
Two training sessions per week are sufficient to achieve adjustments in the tissue.
