On April 14, 1982, the first entry in the commercial register was made for Mooser & Partner AG (then still Mooser & Grätz). Marie-Claire Giacometti (née Mooser) founded a personnel consultancy for commercial professions in Zurich, with premises at Usterstrasse 17 in a prominent location in the city center at Löwenplatz. Subsequently, until the mid-2000s, the small agency specialized mainly in placing women in management and specialist positions. This focus continues to contribute to the positive and high level of awareness of Mooser & Partner AG throughout the region. After the untimely death of the founder in the mid-1990s, her husband, Dr. Laurent Giacometti, took over as owner of the company. He delegated operational responsibility to various managing directors, some of whom are still successfully working in the consulting field today. In 2007, Bea Rutz took over the company, bringing with her many years of consulting expertise and focusing on the recruitment of executives and skilled workers as well as consulting on personnel issues.

In 2018, she handed over the company shares to Manuel Henchoz and continued to work as a freelance consultant for another four years. The new, growing team of consulting and HR specialists continues to expand the company's field of activity and business network to this day. The company, which has been approaching new horizons for a stable future since the beginning of 2022 with a new board of directors and Marc Cosandey as an additional partner, has been extremely successful in establishing itself in the consulting and recruitment market, while proudly maintaining its character as a Swiss consulting boutique.
